Trag is a subscription service that shows the position of GPS collars you own on a map, records the routes your dogs take during a hunt, and sends configuration and control commands to those collars. We provide the app and the service that receives and stores collar data. Unless you bought it from us, we do not supply the collar hardware itself.
Each collar needs a working SIM card with an active mobile data plan and no PIN lock, mobile network coverage where your dog is, and a clear enough view of the sky for GPS. Your phone needs an internet connection to see live positions. None of these are within our control, and the service cannot report a position when any of them is missing.
You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
Each collar you pair carries its own subscription, which begins with a 7-day free trial. After the trial the subscription is billed annually in advance and renews automatically for further one-year terms until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay, in your local currency where supported, and include applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller for the transaction, issues your invoice and handles refunds. Paddle's checkout terms apply to the purchase alongside these terms.
You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and the collar keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
When a collar's subscription expires, that collar stops reporting its position to the service and its live location and telemetry are no longer shown. Hunts already recorded remain visible, and tracking resumes when the subscription is renewed.
You may use Trag only to track animals you own or are lawfully responsible for. You must not use it to track a person, or any animal belonging to someone else, without their knowledge and consent. You must not attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it except to the extent the law permits, or resell access without our written agreement. Tracking people without consent may be a criminal offence.
Some collars support tone, vibration and static stimulation. Where the app exposes those, you are responsible for using them lawfully and humanely, and for complying with any local law restricting such devices. Some countries restrict or prohibit them. We are not responsible for your use of these features.
Trag is an aid, not a safety system. Positions can be delayed, inaccurate or missing because of network coverage, GPS conditions, battery level, hardware faults or weather. Do not rely on Trag as the only means of keeping an animal safe, and do not rely on it in a situation where a failure to report a position could cause harm or loss.
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for a lost, injured or deceased animal, for missed hunts, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
We aim to keep the service running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; maintenance and faults happen. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you and you may cancel for a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
Your dogs' names, photos, tracks and other data are yours. You grant us only the licence we need to host and display them back to you and to operate the service. The app, the website and our software remain ours.
You may stop using Trag and delete your account at any time from the Account tab. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law, and will give you notice and a pro-rata refund of any unused paid period unless the breach is serious.
These terms are governed by the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.
